Department of General Chemistry and Chemistry of Oil and Gas
The department was organized by the order of the Branch "On the Improvement of the Structure of the Branch" dated 23.08.2007 No. 221-p.
The department cooperates with the departments of this direction of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after I.M. Gubkin in the city of Moscow.

Teachers of the department participate systematically in scientific and scientific-practical conferences of faculty members of different levels.
Teachers of the department conduct scientific and practical research in various areas of entertaining chemistry. The results of the research work of teachers are reflected in the periodic publications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, near and far abroad. Abstracts and speeches of papers at scientific conferences, both in the Republic of Uzbekistan and abroad. Every year the teaching staff, headed by Professor Rybalchenko V.S. more than 12 publications (monographs, articles, manuals, textbooks) are published.

With the aim of improving the quality of training specialists and for research work, a laboratory was created, provided within the framework of the development program of the Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after I.M. Gubkin in Tashkent is provided by LUKOIL.
The whole educational process in the department is carried out in accordance with the working programs and methodological instructions approved by the Rector of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU). named “Gubkin”.
