HAPPY DAY OF MOTHERLAND DEFENDERS!

Dear officers, colleagues, dear students !!!

Let me congratulate you on the 27th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Day of Motherland Defenders, and welcome you to our solemn event.

Every year, on January 14, on this significant day, we honor our soldiers, who have dedicated their lives to the defense of the Motherland, and express our deep gratitude for serving devoted to the peace and security of our country.

The President of our Republic, respected Shavkat Mirziyoyev, in his message, congratulating on the 27th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Day of Motherland Defenders, has sited our outstanding poet Alisher Navoi: "The greatest, most noble and sacred duty of every man is worthy protection of his family, homeland and people."

We are all proud of the devoted and courageous sons of our country, honorably fulfilling this responsible and very important mission, thanks to whom we always have a clear sky, our dear children, fathers and mothers live in peace and tranquility, the country becomes more prosperous, well-being grows people.

In the present difficult time, when the world is increasingly exacerbated by the threat of international terrorism, extremism, challenges to national and global security, the continued work on the patriotic education of our youth is crucially important for us. As everyone knows, patriotism is the moral basis of the viability of any state and acts as an important mobilizing resource for the all-round development of society.

The Government of the Republic pays a particular attention to the comprehensive increase in the defense power of our state, training of highly qualified military personnel, creation of decent living conditions for the defenders of the Motherland and their families, development of the national army that becomes mobile, compact and powerful, capable of adequately repelling any threat.

A large-scale work has been started on the modernization of the Armed Forces, in particular, the widespread introduction into the sphere of military education of modern knowledge, advanced foreign experience, information and communication technologies.

Dear students! Our esteemed officers who work in our Branch and continue to fulfill their sacred duty should present an example for you.
